The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Association is pleased to announce “The Dancing Doctor”, PA Tony Adkins, as the 2023 Theme Grand Marshal of the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Parade, which takes place on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
PA Tony, a familiar figure within the Pediatric Neurosurgery department at CHOC Hospital, is a dancing sensation in the halls of the hospital and the rooms of his patients.
While visiting the children he helps care for, he provides KINDNESS, empathy, and dances with, and, for his little patients. His unique approach sparks happiness, and a little rhythm, as his patients face a multitude of health issues. The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Association is excited to have PA Tony Adkins as the Theme Grand Marshal, representing our Theme of Kindness!
Also appearing in the parade:
Madison Taylor Baez, known for her recurring role of young Selena, in the Netflix Series, “Selena the Series.” She is also known for her role as vampire Elena Kane on the Showtime series “Let the right one in” and she became a VIRAL sensation during Season 17 of America’s Got Talent when she received the Golden Buzzer.
Kate Linder, known for her recurring role as Esther Valentine on The Young and the Restless, since 1982, she remains a key member of the top-rated daytime drama’s cast. In April 2008, Linder received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Linder’s feature film credits include Hysteria, Erased, Miss Meadows, Garry Marshall’s Mother’s Day, Voice from the Stone, The Charnel House, Echo Boomers and she’s also one of the leads in Charlie Matthau’s upcoming Book of Leah and Shriver..
The 2023 Garden Grove Strawberry Festival theme is “Celebrating Kindness” and the festival association is looking for Community Ambassadors who represent KINDNESS.
A KINDNESS Ambassador is an individual who lives their lives spreading KINDNESS and Generosity in Significant Ways throughout their community. Top Nominees will be invited to take part in the Parade on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
