Wing Lam, Ed Lee and Mingo Lee are brothers, co-founders, and partners of Wahoo’s Fish Taco.

Wing Lam is the eldest of the three founding brothers and widely recognized as the face of the iconic Wahoo’s Fish Taco brand. A 37-year restaurant industry veteran, he is often in the public eye participating as a panelist/speaker at global events, in various tv commercials and often featured on Food Network shows. You can also hear him every Friday on 95.5 KLOS’ Heidi & Frank Morning Show, giving updates on his charity California Love Drop and his support of many national and local community-based events.

Ed Lee is responsible for the expansion and development of the iconic brand. With more than 35 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, he has helped establish Wahoo’s as a pop culture mainstay. Forging partnerships with brands like Quiksilver, Billabong, Hurley and Vans, Ed has ensured Wahoo’s brand presence at high-profile surf, sporting and music events. Ed serves on the board of various non-profit organizations including Share Our Strength, California Restaurant Association and Vocational Visions. In 2018, Ed was named One of OC’s Most Influential by the Orange County Register.

Mingo Lee, the youngest of the three brothers, serves as CEO of Wahoo’s Fish Taco. With more than 30 years of experience in every aspect of the family restaurant business, he wears many hats, successfully overseeing the company’s finances, marketing and day-to-day operations. Mingo is often invited to speak and guest lecture at top universities such as University of California, Los Angeles, University of Southern California and University of California, Irvine, etc. A philanthropist at heart, Mingo supports many organizations such as the Children’s Hunger Fund, Humane Society, World Wildlife Fund and Doctors Without Borders.

Ed Arnold is a Hometown Legend! He has touched many of our lives here in Garden Grove and beyond. He first touched our lives by playing football on Santa Ana College’s 1961 Eastern Conference Championship team. Going on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV/Film, Ed spent more than 30 years as an Emmy Award winning sportscaster and anchor for KTLA-TV and KABC-TV in Los Angeles. Arnold first joined KTLA in the late 1960s as an announcer, becoming an official sportscaster until 1975. Ed then joined KABC-TV’s “Eyewitness News” team until 1986 and was also the voice of public television station KCET while at ABC.

Ed co-founded the Boys Club of Fountain Valley in 1967, now known as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley. As a young child, the Optimist Boys Club staff meant the world to Ed, especially the positive male role models he didn’t have at home. The confidence the Club instilled led him to pursue his passion for broadcasting, landing his first radio job at just 14 years old. He wanted to be sure similar support would be provided to his Southern California community.

Today, Ed is the co-host and managing editor of the PBS SoCal news magazine, Real Orange. Hosted by Ed Arnold and Ann Pulice, the half-hour program explores all aspects of Orange County lifestyle, business, health, technology, family, education, politics, culture, the arts, and much more. Ed Arnold continues to celebrate our hometown!

In 2010, Frank showcased his visionary spirit by launching the Toad Hop Network, a podcast network that revolutionized the digital landscape. With over 40 podcasts, including his own The Heidi and Frank Show and Let’s Be Frank, Frank’s forward-thinking approach to broadcasting continues to solidify his status as a trailblazer in the industry. Patrick O’Connell is a retired professional surfer who competed in the top ranks of the Association of Surfing Professionals (now called The World Surf League) before retiring and working in the surfwear industry and as a top executive with the World Surf League. He is best known to the general public as one of two surfers featured in Bruce Brown’s The Endless Summer II. The film was a 1994 follow-up to Brown’s landmark 1966 surf documentary The Endless Summer.

Born in Chicago in 1971, O’Connell moved to Dana Point in the early 1980s where he was a member of the Dana Hills High surf team. In 1990, O’Connell represented the United States in the World Amateur Championships in Japan, winning two PSAA events. After many seasons on the ASP World Tour, O’Connell retired “on his own terms. Soon after walking away from full-time competition, O’Connell began a marketing job for Hurley International. Pat has also been one of the regulars in the Drive Thru series of surf movies and television shows since 2005. He is a 2009 inductee into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame.

Johnny Ice is a co-producer and on-air host at 95.5 KLOS fm. He hails from New York with an edgy and sarcastic attitude to match. He has been entertaining the radio airwaves, creating memorable bits and performing on-air stunts for over 20 years. He is most known for being on the Heidi and Frank Show on 95.5 KLOS, living here in Southern California since 2010.

Johnny’s home life is like a family sitcom. His dad joke personality was established even before he had his 2 young kids. Also a loving husband to his wife who is always nagging him to do some project she found on Pinterest. You can most likely catch him shopping at your local hardware store. People have given him the nickname “MacGyver” for his crazy invention he works up in his garage with the most random recycled objects.

Courtney Conlogue is an American professional surfer, born in Santa Ana, California. Courtney learned to surf at the age of 4. In 2004, Conlogue was the youngest athlete to be selected to the USA Junior Surf Team at the age of eleven. She went onto win to individual and team Gold Medals, as a USA Surfing Team member. By the time she was 14, she had won a surfing gold medal as a member of the U.S.A. Team at the X Games. When she was 16 she won the biggest competition in the USA at the Hurley U.S. Open of Surfing, held at her home break in Huntington Beach. She won the US Open of Surfing again in 2018. The following year, she was inducted into the Surfing Walk of Fame as their Woman of the Year. She has lanched her own brand, Sea Tiger, selling paintings, coffee, and clothing. Courtney’s artwork is on display in several galleries.

Jim Trenton, nicknamed “the Poorman”, is an American radio broadcaster. He is best known as the creator and host of Loveline on KROQ-FM in Los Angeles from 1983 to 1993. Trenton created Loveline in 1983 as a Sunday night dating and relationships segment on the Los Angeles radio station KROQ, hosted by Trenton. From 1994 through 2004, Trenton worked at several Los Angeles-area radio stations.
