Wing Lam, Ed Lee & Mingo Lee

Wing Lam, Ed Lee and Mingo Lee are brothers, co-founders, and partners of Wahoo’s Fish Taco.

Wing Lam is the eldest of the three founding brothers and widely recognized as the face of the iconic Wahoo’s Fish Taco brand. A 37-year restaurant industry veteran, he is often in the public eye participating as a panelist/speaker at global events, in various tv commercials and often featured on Food Network shows. You can also hear him every Friday on 95.5 KLOS’ Heidi & Frank Morning Show, giving updates on his charity California Love Drop and his support of many national and local community-based events.

Ed Lee is responsible for the expansion and development of the iconic brand. With more than 35 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, he has helped establish Wahoo’s as a pop culture mainstay. Forging partnerships with brands like Quiksilver, Billabong, Hurley and Vans, Ed has ensured Wahoo’s brand presence at high-profile surf, sporting and music events. Ed serves on the board of various non-profit organizations including Share Our Strength, California Restaurant Association and Vocational Visions. In 2018, Ed was named One of OC’s Most Influential by the Orange County Register.

Mingo Lee, the youngest of the three brothers, serves as CEO of Wahoo’s Fish Taco. With more than 30 years of experience in every aspect of the family restaurant business, he wears many hats, successfully overseeing the company’s finances, marketing and day-to-day operations. Mingo is often invited to speak and guest lecture at top universities such as University of California, Los Angeles, University of Southern California and University of California, Irvine, etc. A philanthropist at heart, Mingo supports many organizations such as the Children’s Hunger Fund, Humane Society, World Wildlife Fund and Doctors Without Borders.

Ed Arnold

Ed Arnold is a Hometown Legend! He has touched many of our lives here in Garden Grove and beyond. He first touched our lives by playing football on Santa Ana College’s 1961 Eastern Conference Championship team. Going on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV/Film, Ed spent more than 30 years as an Emmy Award winning sportscaster and anchor for KTLA-TV and KABC-TV in Los Angeles. Arnold first joined KTLA in the late 1960s as an announcer, becoming an official sportscaster until 1975. Ed then joined KABC-TV’s “Eyewitness News” team until 1986 and was also the voice of public television station KCET while at ABC.

Ed co-founded the Boys Club of Fountain Valley in 1967, now known as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley. As a young child, the Optimist Boys Club staff meant the world to Ed, especially the positive male role models he didn’t have at home. The confidence the Club instilled led him to pursue his passion for broadcasting, landing his first radio job at just 14 years old. He wanted to be sure similar support would be provided to his Southern California community.

Today, Ed is the co-host and managing editor of the PBS SoCal news magazine, Real Orange. Hosted by Ed Arnold and Ann Pulice, the half-hour program explores all aspects of Orange County lifestyle, business, health, technology, family, education, politics, culture, the arts, and much more. Ed Arnold continues to celebrate our hometown!

Fred Kramer
KLOS Heidi & Frank Show

Frank Kramer has developed into one of American radio’s most outspoken, quick-witted, and funny talk show hosts. He has topped the airwaves, dominating the AM/FM and Podcast markets for decades. He currently hosts the top-ranking Heidi and Frank Show on 95.5 KLOS fm.

Starting his radio career on HOT 102 WLUM Milwaukee in 1993, he captivated listeners with his infectious charm and quick wit. His dynamic presence helped propel his radio career and his move to the City of Angels in 1997. Frank was part of the iconic Jamie, Frosty, and Frank Show on Star 98.7 (KYSR). In 2000, Frank continued as part of the Frosty, Heidi, and Frank Show on 97.1 The FM TALK Station (KLSX).

Since 2012, Frank has been the cornerstone of mornings on 95.5 KLOS Los Angeles. Frank and his co-host Heidi were members of the cast on the entertainment news television show DISH Nation. In 2010, Frank showcased his visionary spirit by launching the Toad Hop Network, a podcast network that revolutionized the digital landscape. With over 40 podcasts, including his own The Heidi and Frank Show and Let’s Be Frank, Frank’s forward-thinking approach to broadcasting continues to solidify his status as a trailblazer in the industry. Wendy Burch is an Emmy-winning journalist, acclaimed professional writer, and inspiring motivational speaker. Southern California wakes up to her reports every morning on the KTLA Morning News. Millions more read her blogs on The Huffington Post.

With a career in journalism spanning more nearly three decades, Burch has interviewed some of the biggest news-makers of our time, delivered thousands of live television news reports: everything from breaking news—to high profile court cases—to star-studded red carpet events. Wendy is also an outspoken advocate for women struggling with fertility issues…. And she very publicly chronicled her own journey to get pregnant after the age of 40. She currently resides in Southern California and is a single-mom to her son, Brady.

Pat O’Connell
Professional surfer from Endless Summer II

Patrick O’Connell is a retired professional surfer who competed in the top ranks of the Association of Surfing Professionals (now called The World Surf League) before retiring and working in the surfwear industry and as a top executive with the World Surf League. He is best known to the general public as one of two surfers featured in Bruce Brown’s The Endless Summer II. The film was a 1994 follow-up to Brown’s landmark 1966 surf documentary The Endless Summer.

Born in Chicago in 1971, O’Connell moved to Dana Point in the early 1980s where he was a member of the Dana Hills High surf team. In 1990, O’Connell represented the United States in the World Amateur Championships in Japan, winning two PSAA events. After many seasons on the ASP World Tour, O’Connell retired “on his own terms. Soon after walking away from full-time competition, O’Connell began a marketing job for Hurley International. Pat has also been one of the regulars in the Drive Thru series of surf movies and television shows since 2005. He is a 2009 inductee into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame.

Compa Gomez

Compa Gomez is a local Radio host. He has a variety show every Saturday on Que Buena 96.1FM, talking about the hottest events of the week and the coolest night life locals. He currently resides in Southern California.

Chris Tzorin
Star of Next Level Chef

Chris Tzorin is a second generation chef; his father Chef Luis Tzorin mentored Chris beginning at the age of 15. His passion for the culinary industry began when he started helping his father in the kitchen at work, while at home he helped his mother make traditional enchiladas and special Mexican sauces including her signature Mole. He attended The Art Institute of California in Orange County to further his career. By age 20, was already Executive Chef at The Beach House in Dana Point. His extensive resume includes Chateaux, 195 Downtown Grill, and Savannah Chop House. Now Chef Chris is bringing his inspiring and energetic spirit to Taste by Chris Tzorin Orange County, coming soon to San Clemente.

Chef Chris has also appeared on the Food Network shows, Next Level Chef, Cutthroat Kitchen, Guy’s Grocery Games, Man vs. Child: Chef Showdown, and Guys Grocery Games Redemption Tournament.

Nour Milla

Nour Milla is a journalist, television host, and producer. Born in Massachusetts, she moved to Colombia when she was 3 with her mother and two younger siblings. She started acting from a young age. Upon graduation, she was presented with an Artistic Merit Award for her outstanding endeavors in the performing arts. In 2013 she moved to Los Angeles to fully pursue her lifelong passion for acting and producing. She most recently starred in the short film In Girum Inus Nocte, which was selected for the 2016 Cannes Short Film Corner. She currently is an anchor for Noticias EstrellaTV: Miami and co-host of EstrellaTV’s late-night news magazine hit show, Alarma TV.

Danielle Lawson

Daniele Denise Lawson (Dani) is an American actress who was born and raised in Southern California. She booked her first pilot at 6 years old, in the CBS production Herd Mentality with Damon Wayans. At the age of 9, she co-starred on CBS’ CSI: Cyber alongside Anise Fuller, Shad Moss, James Van Der Beek, and Patricia Arquette. This role drew the attention of her now managers at Entertainment Lab, who she later signed with. Daniele also co-starred in Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn, and Game Shakers. She co-starred on CBS’s hit show Young Sheldon, ABC’s Mixed-ish, FOX’s 9-1-1, and Netflix’s Dad Stop Embarrassing Me. Currently, she has a recurring role as “Jahzara” on Freeform’s Good Trouble. Daniele appeared as “Isha Price” in the Oscar winning film, King Richard starring alongside Will Smith. Currently, she is recurring as “Zora” on Disney Channel’s Raven’s Home.

Johnny Ice
KLOS Heidi & Frank Show

Johnny Ice is a co-producer and on-air host at 95.5 KLOS fm. He hails from New York with an edgy and sarcastic attitude to match. He has been entertaining the radio airwaves, creating memorable bits and performing on-air stunts for over 20 years. He is most known for being on the Heidi and Frank Show on 95.5 KLOS, living here in Southern California since 2010.

Johnny’s home life is like a family sitcom. His dad joke personality was established even before he had his 2 young kids. Also a loving husband to his wife who is always nagging him to do some project she found on Pinterest. You can most likely catch him shopping at your local hardware store. People have given him the nickname “MacGyver” for his crazy invention he works up in his garage with the most random recycled objects.

Nikki SooHoo
Star of Stick It and The Lovely Bones

Nikki SooHoo, an Orange County native, went to Orange County School of the Arts for high school, UCLA for her undergraduate degree, and Chapman University for her Masters in Business Administration. She is best known for her iconic role of Wei Wei in the gymnastics movie, Stick It, and her supporting characters in the cheer leading movie, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, and in the Peter Jackson film, The Lovely Bones. More recently, you may have seen her appear in the Hallmark movie, Branching Out, in commercials for Gametime App, Therabreath Mouth Wash, Walmart, and Outshine popsicles, or heard her voice in the Lego 2K Drive video game. Pyper Braun
Star of Superkittes, Erin & Aaron, and Imaginary

Pyper Braun is 10 years old and a native of Southern CA. With her infectious personality, dynamic talent, and impeccable comedic  timing,  Pyper  is quickly becoming  a  rising star  of  her generation. Competitive dance gave Pyper her start on the stage which led her to an impressive acting career. At age 6 she landed her first series regular role on the Netflix comedy,  Country Comfort.   

In addition, Pyper stars in Disney Jr.’s Superkittes, Nickelodeon’s Erin  & Aaron,  as well as the movie Desperation Road. Most recently she can be seen as the lead in horror movie Imaginary.   In her spare time, Pyper enjoys music, the beach, reading, hanging with friends, baking, and making people laugh.

Courtney Conlogue
Professional Surfer

Courtney Conlogue is an American professional surfer, born in Santa Ana, California. Courtney learned to surf at the age of 4. In 2004, Conlogue was the youngest athlete to be selected to the USA Junior Surf Team at the age of eleven. She went onto win to individual and team Gold Medals, as a USA Surfing Team member. By the time she was 14, she had won a surfing gold medal as a member of the U.S.A. Team at the X Games. When she was 16 she won the biggest competition in the USA at the Hurley U.S. Open of Surfing, held at her home break in Huntington Beach. She won the US Open of Surfing again in 2018. The following year, she was inducted into the Surfing Walk of Fame as their Woman of the Year. She has lanched her own brand, Sea Tiger, selling paintings, coffee, and clothing. Courtney’s artwork is on display in several galleries.

Leigh Steinberg

Leigh William Steinberg an American sports agent, philanthropist, and author. During his 41-year career, Steinberg has represented over 300 professional athletes in football, basketball, boxing, and Olympic sports. He has represented the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft a record eight times. Steinberg is often credited as the real-life inspiration for the sports agent in Cameron Crowe’s film, Jerry Maguire in 1996. Steinberg’s community activism has drawn praise from the political world. He has received accommodations from Congress, State Senate, State Legislature, The Los Angeles City Council, Orange County Board of Supervisors, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and Bill Clinton.

Cece Valencia
Hip Hop DJ on KDAY

Cece Valencia is a Los Angeles radio & television personality, better known as “Cece The Mamacita” and currently on air on 93.5 KDAY. Cece’s main message to her audience is to inspire, recharge and reflect through music. Growing up in Los Angeles, Cece is driven by the LA Culture Of Hip Hop and voiced the popular Grand Theft Auto 5. Cece has been using her platform to encourage education and self love to the community. Cece can be seen this fall in Vivaca Fox’s Chocolate City 2.

Jordan Fitzpatrick

Jordan Fitzpatrick is an on-air producer for the Heidi and Frank Show, mornings on 95.5 KLOS FM. Fitzpatrick is a California native, and continues to call Southern California his home. He has worked and dj-ed for KLOS since 2006. He lives to promote local and timeless rock n’ roll to our local communities. His 2nd passion is playing in a Long Beach rock band. Kayden Koshelev

Kayden Koshelev is an American child actor, who discovered his passion for acting, singing and dancing at the age of 4. Throughout his career so far, Kayden has booked over 15 major commercials and over 14 roles in Television and Film. His most popular projects include the Patriot, Chicago Med, Shameless, Diary Of A Future President, the Oscar nominated film The Tragedy of Macbeth, How I Met Your Father, Bunk’d, and 9-1-1 Lone Star. Currently. he appeared in the Netflix film Rebel Moon. Outside of performing, Kayden is a gifted student, whose favorite subject in school is Math and holds several chess trophies. He also loves Dungeons and Dragons, art, coding, video games, soccer and hanging out with his friends.

Sarita Tello is an ON-AIR Radio host. Currently, she has her own show on the radio station on Que Buena 105.5 FM and Que Buena 96.1 FM, Que buena noche con Sarita; a variety show focused on good vibes and the Southern California vibrant night life.

Michael David has spent the last sixteen years as a radio announcer. He can currently be heard weeknights between 6:30pm and 11:30pm on K-Wave 107.9 FM.

He is an audio producer for commercials and radio teaching programs. He has worked in radio promotions where he interacted with the public and has been the emcee for large events. He has been involved in on-air contests where prizes were offered to radio listeners. He has hosted live call-in programs, as well as hosted recorded community-affairs programs.

Victor Mendez, AKA El Negrito de la Buena Suerte, or Chocolate Bombon, is a Spanish-language radio personality, TV host, and magician. He currently has a Spanish-language radio show broadcast locally, throughout the United States and worldwide.  He currently airs on Radio Suerte 90.3FM Garden Grove from 10:00AM-3:00PM Monday through Friday. Victor is multi-talented as a magician, juggler, a personality voice imitator, ventriloquist. Victor is the founder of the non-profit organization, Int. Crusade of the Penny a 501(3)Tax-exempt since 1987. His mission is to assist the less fortunate the handicap, and homeless. He believes that the “Handicap has Rights too!.”
