Kristin Carey has appeared in over 60 national commercials and numerous TV shows and films. Her latest Television project, Too Old to Die Young, written and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn will be premiering at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. She plays Captain Sylvia Wilcox opposite Miles Teller. It will be premiering on Amazon in June. She had the pleasure of recurring on the hit ABC Show Scandal as Brooke Foster and has most recently guest starred on For The People, Blackish, Bull, Speechless, Dr. Ken, Newsroom, CSI Cyber and Blunt Talk. Kristin also just completed a new series Nova Vita opposite Dean Norris.
Her big studio debut was playing the oversexed cougar Aunt Meg in the Farrelly Bros. movie Hall Pass opposite Jason Sudeikus, Owen Wilson and Alexandrea Daddario. You can also catch Kristin in Pups United, Starcrossed (with Eric Roberts), What Now (with Ice-T) and has recently received several awards and nominations for the film, including best actress, best ensemble and best supporting actress for The Price For Silence opposite Richard Thomas. Her latest feature is a faith-based film called My True Fairtytale.
Kristin was an Air Force brat, but finally settled in beautiful Santa Rosa when she was 7. She always wanted to be an actress and as soon as she graduated she headed to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. She was accepted into the prestigious Bachelor of Fine Arts Theatre and Film Program at the University of Southern California where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Kristin’s passion is being on stage. She has appeared in numerous productions all over Los Angeles. She was nominated for a Robbie in 2015 for best supporting actress and best ensemble cast for the production of Reborning at The Fountain Theatre. She produced and starred in the War Room at The McCadden Theatre, Cost of the Erection at The Blank Theatre and Women Without Walls at The Lounge Theatre just to name a few. She performed her one-woman show at The Hollywood Fringe Festival which gave you a front row seat to discovering the full blood sister she never knew she had. And just recently wrapped The Final Girl, receiving rave reviews for her portrayal of Dr. Harriet Gordon-Lewis.
Her current venture is a scripted comedy podcast Soul Full of It, in which she portrays Dr. Delia Houston. Having recently been kicked off of her hit radio show by the FCC, she decides to come back in a blaze of glory by doing a podcast, where the world of self help is explored through comedy.
