Garden Grove High School
Giselle Betancourt was a four-year varsity soccer player and a three-time First Team All-League selection at GGHS. Giselle was also First Team All CIF her junior year and a Senior Orange County All Star her senior year. She was also Scholar Athlete Award winner for three of her four years on the varsity team.

Jordan Antunez was a two-time FirstTeam All League player and First Team All CIF football player. He was the league MVP in football and was named to the All County and All State team. Along with a CIF championship, Jordan broke three school records for rushing and scoring.
Bolsa Grande High School
Hannah Jones is a four-year member of both the water polo and swim teams at Bolsa Grande High School with three years as a varsity member for each. Some of Hannah’s accomplishments include recognition as a scholar athlete, 2nd team all-league as a freshman and sophomore and 1st team all-league as a junior and senior for water polo, and a water polo all-star selection.

Joshua Baird is a four-year member of both the water polo and swim teams at Bolsa Grande High School with three years as a varsity water polo player and four years as a member of the swim team. Some of Joshua’s accomplishments include recognition as Athlete of the Month at Bolsa Grande High School, 1st team all-league as a member of the water polo team during his junior and senior years, and qualification to CIF for the 50 freestyle event.
Los Amigos High School
Dylan Lee is a 2 sport varsity athlete (Basketball and Volleyball) and was named all Garden Grove League. He will attend University of California Riverside in the fall where he will major in psychology

Brianna Lewis is a 3 sport varsity athlete (Volleyball, Softball and Track) and was named the Garden Grove League Female Athlete of the Year. She will attend Aurora University in Illinois in the fall where she will play softball on an athletic scholarship.
Pacifica High School
Catcher and outfielder Dejah Mulipola started playing softball at four years old and today she is a four-year varsity starter, four-time national champion, and Division 1 CIF Champion. She was also named to the 2015 OC Register All-County Team and accepted a softball scholarship to the University of Arizona.

Thomas Mercurio’s love of sports is evident. The well-rounded three-sport athlete plays football, soccer and baseball at Pacifica High School. He plans to attend Goldenwest College where he will continue participating in as many athletic teams as his schedule allows.

La Quinta High School
As the fourth fastest runner in his school’s history and captain of the cross country and track and field team, Alexander Nguyen Janbo has racked up a long list of accomplishments. Among those accomplishments, Alexander was named La Quinta High School’s Cross Country Runner of the Year, Garden Grove Cross Country’s Most Valuable Athlete, Garden Grove’s Undefeated Cross Country League Champion, Garden Grove Cross Country First Team All-League and La Quinta Athlete of the Month and of the Semester. He hopes to attend UCLA and major in
La Quinta High School
Camryn Hohneker played on the varsity softball team her freshman year and also played volleyball all four years. In softball, she played First Team All-League for three years, was named Aztec of the Year for two years and was team captain for two years. In volleyball, she earned Best Offense sophomore year and played Second Team All-League her senior year. She has been accepted to several universities and plans to pursue a master’s degree in theater.
Santiago High School
Jonathan Luna is a three sport athlete at Santiago High School. He has played football, basketball, and competed in track and field for three of his four years in high school. This past year he was captain of our Varsity football team and a leader on campus. While competing in athletics Jonathan also took challenging classes taking multiple AP courses and is a leader in our Cavalier student government. Jonathan is well deserving of recognition as our boys athlete of character.
Santiago High School
Stephanie Briseno was chosen as Santiago High School’s Female to receive the “Athlete with Character and Honor” award and was honored at the Orange County Athletic Directors Association. She was involved in the Girls’ Varsity Colleyville and Soccer team for all four years. She was awarded first team all-league for soccer and was also captain for both her volleyball and soccer team. Stephanie has taken multiple AP and honors courses. She is a leader on the field and in the classroom.
Rancho Alamitos
Victor Lopez has been an outstanding student athlete excelling in baseball and football. This year he was voted Athlete of the Year for the Garden Grove League. He plans to attend Cal State Fullerton next year and pursue a career in law enforcement.
