Sarah Bui is a 22 year old graduate from Keck School of Medicine of USC with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Studies and a Master’s degree in Global Medicine. While at USC, Sarah was active in contributing to the Trojan family, serving as a Resident Assistant, Keck School Ambassador, and student leader of several organizations. Sarah has received over $5,000 in scholarship money by competing in the Miss Garden Grove and Miss California Scholarship Organizations! She hopes to go back to school to study medicine with the scholarship money she has earned.
In addition to her education and career, Sarah has volunteered over 1,400 hours of community service towards non-profit organizations and events benefiting a variety of needs. She is an advocate for campaigns of the United Nations Foundation and is a goodwill ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Her platform is centered on youth education and empowerment. She is an advocate for girls’ rights and education, has participated in lobbying for policy change on Capitol Hill, and ran in the LA Marathon in a collaborative effort raising over $4,000 for the United Nations Foundation campaign Girl Up. Sarah is thrilled to serve her hometown of Garden Grove and is looking forward to working with community leaders and businesses during her year of service.
