Emily Evan Rae’s most notable TV role was her recurring character “Young Kate” (Evangeline Lilly) on ABC’s hit show Lost. Her most challenging role was on ABC’s Private Practice where she earned greater recognition and won The Young Artist Award. She played a multifaceted young girl who stabbed her father.
Other credits include NBC”s The Office, Life (starring Damien Lewis), and Justine in FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Her most recent role is a recurring character on NBC’s hit show Parenthood where she was on set with her real life little sister, Savannah Paige Rae, who plays Sydney. Emily was born in Florida and was only a baby when a talent agent approached and wanted to represent her. She began her career as a model and slept through her first job! She went on to do print ads and billboards for many clients such as Vogue, Clinique, Bloomingdales, and many others. At 2 years old she auditioned for her first commercial for ADT and booked it and continued to film commercials when she booked her first film, Phoenix Falling and has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel many times.
Emily then auditioned for Eloise in Paris directed by Charles Shyer. A Worldwide search for the title role of Eloise took more than a year and saw thousands of girls. After extensive auditions for the coveted role, Emily was chosen to a three-day intensive screen test event.
When not on set Emily is busy with fashion design, soccer and is involved in many charities. She is her sister’s acting coach and best friend. Her family is very close and loves spending time all together.
